Where will the conference be held? The conference will be held at the Montezuma Community Schools, 504 N. 4th Street, Montezuma, Iowa.
Do you accept credit cards for admission payment? Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to accept credit cards. Acceptable forms of payment for the admission fee or lunch are cash, check or money order.
What time does the conference start? Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. Presentations start at 9 and go until around 5.
Is lunch included in the price of admission? No
Where can we get lunch? We will be offering a meal for $6 at the school. Some other lunch options in Montezuma include: Subway, Home Town Restaurant and Star Lanes Bowling Alley.
Who are the presenting authors? Leslie Langtry, Kathy Bacus, Kimberly Stuart, Carol Bodensteiner, S.C. Sherman, Mickey Zucker Reichert, Rebecca Janni, Colleen Bradford Krantz and Sharon Helgens.
Will their books be available for purchase? Yes. Most authors will be selling their own books at some time throughout the day. This will give attendees a chance to talk to their favorite authors one-on-one and to get a signed copy of their books!
Where can I find information about the presentations? As the information is supplied by the authors, it will be posted on our website.

How can I get my writing contest entry back? Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want us to send back your entry. Entries will also be available for pick-up at the conference.
Do I need to include a cover letter on my writing contest entry? Not necessarily. We just ask that your name, address and phone number are listed somewhere. Your story’s word count would be helpful as well.
Does my fiction contest entry have to be in your hands on Sept. 1? No, it just has to be postmarked by Sept. 1 and arrive to us no later than Sept. 10 to be included in the 2011 writing contest.
